Here at TreeHouse Workshop we pre-fabricate as much as we can. At our shop in Fall City, Washington, we’ve built the main structure of a treehouse that will live in a tree in Indiana. We’ll take it apart and ship it to the site. We also pre-fabricate windows.

Turns out one of our carpenters is a closet woodcarver! Ron Myre stands next to the dragons he carved into two cedar planks. These guys are heading to a new treehouse in Philadelphia.

First stop on our way to the World Treehouse Conference was Joy & Harvey Shinerock’s “It’s a Burl” gallery in Kerby, Oregon. What a place! Here’s Judy perusing a few of the thousands of burls there.
They have a few great treehouses on the property, built by Harvey’s son Dan.
